George's Farm Products, Inc. is a third generation family business founded in 1951 as a wholesale produce broker, packer and shipper specializing in green beans. We also supplied local farmers with fertilizer and provided a means for local growers to sell their product to distant markets across the Northeast.
In the mid 70's we decided to get our hands dirty and began to grow and sell plants. Our green thumbs allowed us to expand into a full service garden center, selling a wide variety of annuals, vegetables, perennials and nursery items.
This model of selling plants from spring through fall and brokering, packing and shipping produce in the summer and fall months has persisted for the last 40 years.
