New York State has determined that greenhouses offering home food production plants and supplies are essential. As a business providing seeds, herbs, and fruit and vegetable plants, along with growing supplies, George's is open to serve our customers. The safety of our customers and staff is important to us.
Read more about the steps we have taken to create a safe shopping experience for our customers:
- We are complying with the suggestions given by our local, state and federal government. Our employees will be masked when dealing with the public.
- All customers must be masked while shopping per NYS Executive order.
- Please limit your shopping party to the least amount of people as possible.
- In order to create an environment that can better accommodate best practices for social distancing, we have altered some traffic lanes and created wider aisles.
- We have separated our checkout counters so there is more space between people in the store area and are limiting entrance to the building by creating checkout lines that begin outside
- We are bypassing the signature for any credit card purchases so you will not need to touch the stylus to sign.
- All counters will be sanitized between customers.
- Curb-side Pick Up and Delivery will be available for those who do not want to come into the greenhouse and shop.
- Per NYS Executive order, we will be unable to assist you with loading your vehicle unless loading into an open bed or providing you with any planting or landscaping services at your home.
